Welcome to my world.
People do call me crazy, and not just because I wrote a book.
Read my blog to find out other reasons why.

My blog posts range from stories that didn't make it into my book Facing Sunset (and how I wrote and published it), to tales about living in northern Michigan woods (think Northern Exposure meets Lake Wobegon), featuring crazy adventures, poetry, photography, and my horse.

Facing Sunset
3800 solo miles, a woman's journey back and forward
In a coming-of-a-certain-age memoir, 60-year-old cyclist patti brehler faces physical and metaphorical headwinds cycling her recumbent bicycle on a solo tour across the country. Fulfilling lifelong desires to ride her own road wasn’t exactly what she expected, but everything she needed—life and death reflections with a dose of inspiration.

What She Wrote
An Anthology of Women's Voices
What She Wrote: An Anthology of Women's Voices is the creation of women who have written what is in their hearts and minds. You will find not only seasoned authors in this anthology but also women who've kept their words enclosed in a journal. Women who've set their words free in a blog. Women who have dreamed of seeing their words in print, and women who are secret poetry writers.
Read about what is important to them, whether it's family, horses, or nature. They share their joys as well as their private grief. Through each author, you'll visit different parts of the USA as well as Australia, Canada, England, New Zealand, Scotland, South Africa, and Wales.
We invite you to join us and be drawn into their words of poetry, fiction, and creative non-fiction. Here you will find connection. Here you will find inclusion. It's here you will enjoy being a part of what she wrote.
